Catalina Gliga is a young and talented interior designer embarked on a journey towards innovation, comfort and education of good taste. Her diverse palette of skills and knowledge is based on a rich background. She graduated from Universita Commerciale Luigi Bocconi in Milano, receiving a degree in International Economics and Management, then obtained a degree in Law at Romanian-American University in her hometown, Bucharest, and eventually decided to follow her dream of becoming an interior designer and continued her studies at Istituto Marangoni in London. This vibrant adventure has offered her the chance to understand different ways of seeing things, meet interesting people and cultures – a rich experience that made her the creative designer she is today.

On her return to Bucharest in 2012, Catalina founded and started managing her own company and is currently its creative director. Having completed a number of residential and commercial projects, ranging from houses, apartments and studios to restaurants, spas, offices, showcases and dental clinics, Catalina has refined her style and has gained awareness. Her work starts from understanding the personality and vision of her clients and continues with tailoring interiors that exceed their imagination and bring them exactly what they wished for. She designs unique custom pieces of furniture and combines rich textures, organic shapes, unexpected patterns and bold colours with honest materials, clean lines and soft hues. Her style can impress by its originality, high level of details that tend to meet perfection and a very clean, yet sophisticated approach. Catalina understands beauty and functionality and creates complete interiors that surprise through the harmonious mixture of new and old objects with a contemporary feel.

Nature inspires her with its endless beauty and resources. She believes it has an ordered simplicity, a language that one needs to decipher and protect. Light, space, sustainability and a strong relation with the outdoors define her key concepts of design and lifestyle. These main guidelines are integrated into her works creating sensations and identity in the art of living.
